Voting in your home state

The National Association of Secretaries of State can direct you to your home state’s voting resources.

Step 1: Register to vote in your home state

Find important information about registration deadlines and procedures in your home state.

Step 2: Get a voter ID if required

Make sure you have a valid voter ID if required by your home state.

Step 3: Cast your ballot in your home state

Check absentee and early voting deadlines and requirements or find your Election Day polling place.
